4 Books You Must Read as a Female Entrepreneur

4-Books-Female-Entrepreuner

As a female entrepreneur, you face some unique challenges that men in the space will not experience. It can be quite difficult to build your business as a woman, and the most helpful type of information you can gather will come straight from those that have been there before. With that in mind, I’ve taken the time to look at some of the top books out there for female entrepreneurs. Let’s take a look!

Shark Tales Barbara Corcoran: Shark Tales: How I Turned $1,000 into a Billion Dollar Business
One of our favorite sharks on the TV series Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran is a self-made billionaire who understands how hard it can be to create a successful business. Her business venture began with a mere $1000, and she has since built a veritable business empire.

Ladies-Who-Launch Victoria Colligan, Amy Swift, and Beth Schoenfeld: Ladies Who Launch
These ladies are inspirational stories to be sure. They built their Ladies to Launch website using sheer determination and hard work, and they are excited to share their hard-won information with you. If you’re looking for easy to understand and approachable advice, this is the book for you!

Lean-In Sheryl Sandberg: Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead
While perhaps a somewhat controversial book, I find this one to have a lot of great insight regarding women and the workplace. Sandberg has a lot of advice about how women should consider approaching their careers, and how they can overcome the unique difficulties that female entrepreneurs can face.

Dream-It Victoria Colligan: Dream it! Launch it! Live it!
With over a decade of experience interacting with and interviewing thousands of entrepreneurial women, Victoria follows up the aforementioned Ladies Who Launch with this text. Highlighting that there is no one single formula for success, but that there is, in fact, a mindset that can be learned, and certain actions that can be taken, that are more likely to garner results than not.
