The Best Way to See London: A 24 Hour Sightseeing Trip

London

When traveling internationally, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all there is to do and see. Not to mention how do you get around? You can uber everywhere, but is that cost effective? What about a bus pass?

On our recent trip to London, we utilized The London Pass to do just this. We had roughly 24 hours to spare that wasn’t full of work activities (I was hosting panels for Walker Stalker Con) or pre-scheduled tours, and we wanted to see as much as we could.

The London Pass is designed to cut costs and save time. Entry feeds to over 70 locations are already covered in the price of the pass (which adds up quickly with some attractions being more than £20 to enter). The passes also provide you with the ability to skip to the front of the queue so you don’t have to spend your trip standing in lines.

The ability to use the Hop on Hop off Bus Tour is also extremely helpful to explore as much as you want without having to pay to get from location to location.

So how did we use the London Pass? We visited the Churchill War Rooms (which is hands-down the best designed museum we’ve ever visited), Westminster Abbey, and also did the Thames River Boat Cruise – and utilized the Hop on Hop off Bus Tour to get around between locations and also stop by the London Eye (which was a separate attraction that we visited) and indulge our inner geeks at The Lego Store!
